Who We Are
Our Mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential to become productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
Boys and Girls Clubs of Maui is a second home for Maui’s keiki. During those critical hours when school is out but parents / guardians are working, BGCM Clubhouses provide safe, positive environments where youth can come and feel empowered. Free transportation from schools to the Clubhouse is provided.
More than a daycare or a study hall, Boys and Girls Clubs of Maui is a place of 100% respect, where kids rule and great futures start.
In The Club

$5 / Year FREE until July 2022
Compared to an average of $15K / year for traditional after-school care. Scholarships are available.
Great For Families
BGCM gives working parents a safe and affordable after-school solution. At every step of the way, caring, professional staff act as mentors to the kids, giving them support when they need it, but allowing them to realize their own strengths.
Great For Businesses
We provide amazing opportunities for investment in the next generation of citizens – from workers and employees, to business leaders and entrepreneurs.
Great For Community
Club members learn the values of kindness and empathy, and how embracing each others’ differences and working together leads to stronger community.
“During the early years of starting and growing Alpha Inc. BGCM helped my wife and I balance raising five kids and starting a company. Knowing our kids were in good hands at the Club gave us comfort and allowed us the extra time needed to grow our company… Now that Alpha Inc. has grown to become a leader in the construction industry, it means a lot for us to be able to give back to this organization that has given so much to us.”
– Jason Stenger, President Alpha Inc.
“I love the Club. I feel like here is a place where I can be free and I can tell the staff how I’m feeling, and you will understand and do your best to help me… That’s why I love it here. It really means a lot to me. You’ve made me feel so much better about everything.”
– Makawao Member, Age 10
“The Club being open provided me with books for education, socialization with friends, a safer environment and a home away from home. I feel happy the Club is open. It provides me with some normalcy during these hard times.”
– Lahaina Member, Age 15
